Marcus Kiser is the driving force behind a collection of elevated UI, illustrative, graphic, and digital works for Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Museum of Design, Jordan Brand, Adidas, Carolina Panthers, and the digitally designed wearable orthopedics innovator, Mign, Inc. Kiser’s tenure as Creative Director at Mign established the incomparable brand identity the company enjoys today. A designer and visual artist whose practice draws from sources ranging from classical art to comic books—anchored through a lens of art and community engagement—Kiser has participated in artist residencies with the McColl Center for Art + Innovation and the Gantt Center’s Black Carolina Cohort, both centered on creative practice, collaboration, and community-based impact. Kiser, alongside artist and designer Jason Woodberry, is the co-creator of Intergalactic Soul, a national multimedia art exhibition developed in collaboration with playwright Quentin Talley and recognized as a leading work within the contemporary Afrofuturist movement.
