Afrofuturism Multimedia Exhibit (2014 – Present)
This ongoing collaborative project with Jason Woodberry and Quinten Talley is a traveling, multi-media exhibition that situates Afrofuturism as both an aesthetic practice and a critical framework. Integrating graphic design, product design, illustration, and music, the work examines the intersections of speculative fiction and lived realities of social justice and injustice. Through a science fiction lens, the exhibition invites audiences to engage with reimagined futures while interrogating contemporary cultural, political, and historical narratives. The project has been presented at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, The McColl Center for Art + Innovation, Locust Projects in Miami’s Design District, and the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill, as well as featured in the Black on Black Project in partnership with the North Carolina Museum of Art.

Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum
Worked with the Cooper Hewitt as a Design Camp instructor, guiding youth through hands-on workshops that introduced design thinking and creative problem-solving. In collaboration with the museum during the pandemic, developed a series of child-friendly infographics to support online design camps and maintain engagement in virtual learning environments. Additionally, created the Design Around Town activity book, a visually rich educational resource distributed to children across the New York area, blending playful illustration with design education to extend the museum’s mission beyond its walls.
